Vintage Tetsubin Cast Iron 4 Cup Brown and Gold Round Teapot

This Japanese tetsubin style cast iron teapot features a dark brown base with a gold geometric design. It has a porcelain ceramic interior and a 4 cup / 32 ounce capacity.
It measures 8 1/4" tall including the handle, 6 1/2" tall pot and lid only, and 5 1/4" in diameter. It weighs just over 3 pounds. It is in very good vintage condition with only one small chip on the underside of the lid as pictured. Please note that it is missing the tea infuser/strainer.
Because of the porcelain interior, this should only be used for brewing and serving, but not recommended for boiling on the stove.
