This beautiful floral covered ceramic trinket / jewelry dish was made by the New York Husband and Wife studio pottery artist team of Barbara Harris & Sandy Cies in 2003. They are well known for their abstract and post modern pottery using colorful high gloss glazes, made during the 1980's to early 2000's.
It features a floral design in gorgeous blues, pinks, purples, yellows and white airbrushed glossy glazes that Harris-Cies often used in their artwork. The inside is a solid deep blue.
It measures 4 3/4" long, 3 1/8" wide, and 2 1/4" high and is signed "Harris-Cies 2003" on the bottom. It is in overall very good vintage condition with no cracks or crazing. Please note that the lid does have 3 small chips--one on the outside rim and 2 on the underside as pictured, and it is priced accordingly.
This is a special one of a kind piece of art that could be used to hold jewelry, or any other small items or toiletries, or just add some decorative flair to any room!
