This beautiful hand thrown ceramic vessel was made by the Pigeon Forge Pottery Company in Tennessee, which operated from 1946-2000 and was renowned for their skilled potters and use of locally sourced materials.
It features a lovely aqua blue glaze on the inside and a tan textured striated pattern on the outside, and is in pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It measures 12" long, 4 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" high, and weighs a hefty 2 pounds, 5 ounces.
It could be used for serving anything, or as a planter or catch-all dish.
