This striking vintage footed sugar and creamer set was made by L. E. Smith Glass in their Mt. Pleasant Black Amethyst pattern produced from 1925-1934. They feature scalloped edges, and a double shield design. A classic example of elegant depression glass, the color appears black but is actually a very deep dark red.

The creamer measures 2 1/4" tall, 3 1/2" across, and 5" from spout to handle The sugar bowl measures 2 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" across, and 5 1/4" wide from handle to handle. Both are in pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or wear marks!
