This festive stained glass gingerbread house suncatcher measures 7 1/2" tall and 6 3/4" wide. The house is made with white and brown opalescent art glass, with a blue cathedral glass door, amber tiled glass windows, and green and red glass jewels on the roof. 16 gauge wire is used for the chimney "smoke" and serves as a hanging loop. The solder is silver colored, but will look darker in a lighted window.
It comes ready to hang with a suction cup hanger, but can also be hung on a wall or propped up on a windowsill or fireplace mantel, or in a tabletop display stand.
Each piece of glass is cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the "Tiffany" method).
