The beauty of this shimmery iridescent stained glass dragonfly suncatcher is hard to catch in photos, as the iridescent colors change and reflect differently in different lighting and angles.  

The body is made with a light blue iridescent opalescent art glass, and the wings are made with a textured clear iridescent cathedral art glass.  The solder is silver colored, but will look darker in a lighted window.  It measures approximately 6" high and 9 1/2" across.

Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
