This round stained glass panel depicting the moon rising over Spring green mountains captures the twilight sky beautifully! It is made with a luminous Youghiogheny opalescent art glass for the mountains and sky, and Kokomo opalescent art glass for the moon. It measures 10 1/4" in diameter, is framed in came for added durability, with two rings attached for hanging. (Hanging jack chain and S hooks are not included but are available at any hardware store).
Please note that there are striations, bubbles, and an uneven texture in this glass, as is characteristic of Youghiogheny glass, which is what creates the unique way it reflects light.
Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut and shaped by hand, and assembled using the copper foil method (also known as the Tiffany method.)
