This heavy antique pressed glass footed pitcher was made by McKee and Brothers Glass in their Snow Flake / Star Rosetted pattern first introduced in 1880 and produced until 1899.  It features a swooping spout with a clear top half and a diamond point bottom half, and does glow green under UV light due to it's manganese content--a common clearing agent used in glass making at that time.

It measures 9" tall, 8" wide from spout to handle, 5" wide bowl, and has a 6 cup / 48 ounce capacity.  It weighs a hefty 3 pounds, 3 ounces.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and minimal wear marks.  Please note it does have some manufacturing anomalies/imperfections-including a dark bubble on the bottom as pictured--which are typical of glassware from this period.

Please note that vintage and hand blown glass pieces may have manufacturing flaws such as air bubbles, seams, pontil marks, and other imperfections. These anomalies are not considered damage as they are inherent to the methods and/or the time period in which they were made.
