This stunning clear pressed glass relish dish was made by Bryce, Higbee and Company in their Bijou Rib and Star pattern in the late 1880's, and features ribbed sides and an intricate star pattern on the bottom. It glows green under UV light due to its manganese content, a common clearing agent used in glass made before 1930.
It measures 7.5" long, 5.5" wide, and 1.5"" high and weighs 1 pound 7 ounces. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, and few wear marks. Please see all photos for condition details.
